Description of Gypsum Powder Production Line
Gypsum Powder Production Line (natural gypsum) uses advanced processing equipment such as a vertical mill, boiling furnace, etc. The boiling furnace is the most widely used gypsum calcining equipment in China, and is applied to calcining process of natural gypsum and chemical gypsum. Our boiling furnace has the advantages of compact size, simple structure, high productivity, low energy consumption, stable physical performance, ease of operation and low operating cost. Today, our gypsum powder production line is well received in Thailand, Uzbekistan, Colombia, Mexico, among others.

2. Process and Equipment
2.1 Equipment Introduction
2.1.1 Crushing, Grinding Section
The forklift driver removes the gypsum ore from the quarry into the hopper in front of the crusher, and then the gypsum ore is crushed into the 20mm materials, which are later sent to the mill by the hoist to be grinded into qualified gypsum powder (raw gypsum).
2.1.2 Calcining Section
The grinded gypsum powder is lifted into gypsum calcining machine for calcination. The calcining machine uses gas heat conduction oil furnace, however, other fuels like coal, methane, LPG, diesel oil, heavy oil, etc. can also be used. Due to its low temperature, slow burning calcining mode, the stability of gypsum quality is well ensured.
2.1.3 Finished Product Packing and Storing Section
Calcined Gypsum Powder is lifted into the finished product silo through a hoist, where an automatic weighing and packaging machine is used to pack 50kg gypsum powder per bag for marketing or storing.

2.2.4 Main Production Control
2.2.4.1 Design Principles and Programs
In order to meet the process requirement of modern Gypsum Powder Production Line, ensure reliable operation of processing equipment and product quality, conserve energy and improve operating rate of our production line, our project uses the technically advanced distributed control system (DCS) to realize centralized monitoring, operation and decentralized control of the production line, which greatly improves the reliability and maintainability of the electrical control equipment. Nowadays, the factory management information system (MIS) can be easily connected to the DCS system, which can help the administrator to know the actual situation of factory production timely.
2.2.4.2 DCS system overview
Our gypsum powder production line is equipped with an independent DCS system, whose main functions are:
1). with process flow diagram which displays dynamic process equipment status and process parameters;
2). Process equipment group, stand-alone start and stop operation panel and equipment operating status display;
3). Group show of process parameter operation panel and process parameters;
4). Timely process parameter and history trend curve display;
5). Detailed display of regulating loop and parameter adjustment;
6). Process state alarm display;
7). Alarm report and process parameter report printing;
8). When production line gives an alarm, it will show and record the related parameters and display alarm handling tips to facilitate timely troubleshooting;

2.2.4.3 Application Software
Control system application software is an important software for realization of field control station, operation station and computer functions. It is developed on the basis of our knowledge of production line process characteristics, equipment characteristics, control system software and hardware characteristics.
2.2.4.3.1 Logic Control Software Functions
As to process equipment such as all motors, electric valves and solenoid valves, functions including equipment group selection, equipment group logic interlock, stand-alone start and stop, emergency stop and fault reset etc. are achieved through the field control station by using keyboard and mouse action, according to the operation flow chart displayed on the operation station and operation panel.
2.2.4.3.2 Process Control Software Functions
Detect and display temperature, pressure, flow, valve opening, material level, speed, and current, and give an alarm if needed, regulate and record important process parameters
2.3 Main Equipment Introduction
2.3.1 Crusher
Ratio of reduction: feed: less than 350mm, material discharged: 20mm, output: 13 tons per hour
2.3.2 Hoist
Our hoist uses the advanced NE chain elevator, which features great transport capacity, low energy consumption, smooth running etc.
2.3.3 Mill
To ensure the reliability and quality of our mill, we utilize Raymond mill as our grinding equipment, which has the following advantages:
1). Gypsum Powder Production Line is of vertical type structure, occupies small area, and can perform all functions from rough processing of raw material, conveying, milling to final packaging;
2). 99% Gypsum Powder can pass through the screen;
3). The drive unit adopts closed gearbox and belt pulley for reliable operation;
4). Key components of the mill are made from superior castings and section bar, thus ensuring the durability of the equipment;
5). The electrical system of the mill adopts centralized control, highly automated;
2.3.4 Calciner
Our gypsum calciner is compact, energy efficient, easy to operate and simple to maintain.
2.3.5 Electrical Control Cabinet
In order to ensure the smooth running of the system and reduced downtime, we use famous brand electrical components, including Mitsubishi or Siemens PLC and inverter, Schneider low-voltage electrical parts, Chint cabinet body, etc.
